Responsibilities:

- Design and implement core Taproot Assets Protocol features and algorithms
- Contribute to mission-critical peer-to-peer cryptocurrency daemons written in Go
- Collaborate on research and design of future iterations of the Taproot Assets Protocol
- Participate in issue triage and code review of open source repositories
- Communicate with the wider community and industry about the software and technology

Requirements:

- Strong engineering background with solid programming skills
- Experience in Go; C or C++ also relevant
- Thorough understanding of distributed systems and peer-to-peer networking
- Solid engineering practices, including testing methodology and documentation
- Experience with Bitcoin, applied cryptography, and/or financial software
- Prior contributions to crypto protocols and open source software preferred
- Quick learner, implementation-focused, and willing to take ownership of projects
