WebDesignSun.com is looking for a Seniour Python Backend Developer 🚀 to join the Text AI Humanizer/Detector project (North America).

💼 Responsibilities
— Deep immersion in code and bugs: Support, heavy bug fixing, optimization, and maintenance of a high-load SaaS platform using Python (Django / DRF / FastAPI)
— Deep debugging and resolution of complex technical issues using Django Debugger, Django Shell, and Sentry
— Investigate data via dashboards (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus), databases, and Stripe; analyze backend code, SQL queries, and Sentry traces
— Gain deep product understanding, accept the project "as is" and find solutions within the current logic (understanding that refactoring to a "perfect state" takes time)
— High responsibility role: requires deep context immersion, long hours of focus, and occasional availability on weekends for critical tasks
— Support microservice architecture and the project core
— Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability

🧠 Requirements
— 5+ years of experience with Python, including 3+ years in high-load SaaS projects
— Exceptional problem-solving skills for context-heavy tasks, capable of digging deep into legacy logic by leveraging various debugging tools, monitoring systems, and rigorous data verification
— Proficiency with AI coding agents (specifically Cursor): ability to effectively utilize them while understanding their boundaries, limitations, and best practices
— Strong experience with Python 3.10+, Django, DRF, FastAPI, Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ / Kafka
— Proficiency with monitoring/logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Sentry, ELK/OpenSearch
— English — B1+, Ukrainian/Russian — C1+/Native
— Residence outside Russia, Belarus & Ukraine

🎁 We offer
— Fully remote, full-time position
— $2800–3200 USD, depending on experience
