About the Opportunity
Our client is a specialized technology consulting company delivering SAP-based digital transformation projects for the energy and utilities sector. With deep industry expertise and extensive SAP know-how, the company helps utility providers modernize their business processes, improve operational efficiency, and successfully navigate the transition to a digital energy landscape.
To strengthen their SAP team, they are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer who is passionate about developing innovative solutions for complex SAP environments.

Your Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP Objects, primarily within SAP IS-U environments.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Perform technical design, implementation, and customization within SAP IS-U.
Develop and integrate interfaces, APIs, Web Services, and integrations between SAP and third-party systems.
Work with at least two of the following SAP modules:
SAP IS-U
FI/CO
SD/MM
FI
EDI
HCM / HR
EWM
PS

Support the implementation and optimization of modern SAP technologies such as S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, and IDoc integrations.
Resolve incidents and implement changes within 2nd and 3rd level support.
Collaborate closely with functional consultants, project managers, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Profile

Bachelor&;s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector
Several years of experience in SAP development, ideally within the SAP IS-U environment.
Strong expertise in ABAP and ABAP Objects.
Experience with SAP integration technologies such as IDEX, SAP PI/PO, or comparable interface technologies is considered an advantage.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Ability to work independently in a remote and collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation projects.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori, UI5, and modern SAP development concepts.
Previous experience in the energy and utilities industry.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
