Senior Infrastructure Manager

Senior Infrastructure Manager | UAE | Candidates based in the UAE only

Aventus is partnering with a leading UAE organisation to appoint a Senior Infrastructure Manager to own its enterprise infrastructure. The role reports to the Director – CIO.

This role is for a seasoned leader who sets the direction and can still step in on the toughest technical problems.

The role
— Full ownership of enterprise infrastructure: data centres, servers, storage, networks and hybrid cloud (Azure)
— Accountable for 24x7 availability, resilience and performance across the estate
— Lead incident, problem and change management to ITIL standards, and take the lead on major incidents
— Own the DR/BC strategy and testing, working closely with the Director of Cybersecurity on ISO 27001 and NIST compliance
— Drive automation, infrastructure as code and cloud modernisation
— Manage vendors, SLAs and infrastructure budgets, and report to senior leadership
— Lead, mentor and develop a team of infrastructure engineers

What we’re looking for
— 12+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure, including 5+ years in a management role
— Proven ownership of complex hybrid environments (Microsoft, Azure, VMware, Cisco)
— Strong track record in ITIL operations, DR and high-availability design
— Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments in the UAE
— Certifications such as AZ-104/305, VCP, CCNP, ITIL or PMP are highly desirable

✨ Exposure to AIOps or AI-driven operations is a plus
