Tether builds reserve-backed tokens and infrastructure that enable instant, low-cost global transfers and tokenization across blockchains. Their products include USDT, energy-efficient Bitcoin mining operations, data and communications tools (e.g., KEET), and education and tokenization services.

Applicants must be located in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

- Own design execution end-to-end: concept, prototype, launch and iteration.
- Turn complex ideas into simple wallet experiences for first-time users.
- Prototype fast and often with high-fidelity interactive designs.
- Partner daily with product, engineering and research; present to leadership.
- Raise quality across shipped products and contribute to wallet strategy.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of product design experience with shipped products in wallets, crypto or fintech.
- Mastery of visual design, interaction design and prototyping.
- Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping tools, including AI-assisted tools.
- Working understanding of crypto networks, fees and self-custody.
- Strong plain-language instinct to make complex things obvious.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable shipping in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have:

- Experience designing for emerging markets or first-time financial users.
- Design systems experience at scale.
