Bitpanda (founded 2014 in Vienna) helps people build financial freedom via a user-friendly platform for cryptocurrencies, stocks, precious metals and commodities. The company serves millions of customers across Europe and is building Vision Chain, its OP Stack L2 blockchain, to bring regulated finance onchain.

Responsibilities:

- Design and run lending markets: set LTV, liquidation thresholds, interest rate curves, caps, oracles, and own monitoring/incident playbooks.
- Bring liquidity and users to permissioned markets: set supply targets and source euro liquidity from stablecoin issuers, institutional lenders, curated vaults and market makers.
- Ensure DeFi infrastructure for permissioned tokenized assets: DEX liquidity, liquidators, oracles and related building blocks.
- Shape in-app customer experience and disclosures for borrowing, liquidation and risk; measure borrower retention, bad debt and revenue.
- Recommend protocols and partners for Vision Chain with business cases and collaborate with Legal/Compliance/Risk on EU rules.

Requirements:

- 6+ years Product Management experience, with 3+ years focused on building and scaling DeFi or crypto products.
- Deep knowledge of lending markets: collateral/liquidation mechanics, interest rate models, oracles, curation and bad debt.
- Comfortable with the EVM and able to read Solidity smart contract code well enough to question engineers.
- Experience bringing DeFi into regulated consumer products and bridging decentralized and centralized finance.
- Strong ability to lead through influence, build clear business cases, and write excellent documentation in English.
- Working knowledge of EU crypto regulations (e.g., MiCA) to partner effectively with Risk, Legal and Compliance.

Nice to have:

- Hands-on experience scaling onchain ecosystem liquidity from scratch.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in traditional financial markets.
