__We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Test Engineer with strong expertise in RTOS-based embedded systems to strengthen our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining test strategies and implementing quality initiatives to ensure the highest standards of product quality, reliability, and safety.

Salary: €4500-5500 per month. Official employment. Relocation support.
Employment Type: Full-time.
Format: remote work/on-site (Germany), relocation supported.

🟠Responsibilities:
• Development and implementation of test strategies, test processes, and quality guidelines for embedded systems.
• Coordination with interdisciplinary teams (software, hardware, and system engineers) to define test requirements and priorities.
• Design, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded software and hardware components.
• Introduction and continuous improvement of automated test tools and frameworks (e.g. Gtest, Pytest) to increase test efficiency and coverage.
• Recording, documentation, and tracking of defects, as well as close collaboration with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Conducting root-cause analyses and initiating measures to improve product quality and test processes.
• Maintenance and updating of test documentation (test plans, test cases, test reports).
• Monitoring current trends and best practices in embedded systems testing and actively integrating new methods into existing processes.

🟠Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of professional experience in testing embedded systems, with a focus on hardware and software components.
• Solid knowledge of embedded programming (e.g. C, C++) and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Experience with test tools and frameworks (e.g. Gtest, Pytest) and automated testing methods.
• Experience working in Linux environments and with common Linux tools.
• Good knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. I²C, SPI, UART) and hardware interfaces.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and high attention to detail.
• Experience in fault analysis and diagnostics down to root cause.
• Basic knowledge of English or German is required.
