Technology Services Engineer II (IAM) Pax8 | US Remote or Hybrid Pax8 is hiring a Technology Services Engineer II specialising in Identity and Access Management, to help strengthen secure access, automation, and enterprise technology operations across our fast-growing global cloud marketplace. 🔐 Your Opportunity This is a brilliant opportunity to join a Technology Services team working at the centre of identity, access, automation, and infrastructure enablement. You’ll support the technology that keeps Pax8 people connected, secure, and productive, while contributing to high-impact projects across Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Azure, vendor portals, service principals, access packages, automation, and infrastructure as code. You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’ll be encouraged to use new tools, experiment thoughtfully, and grow alongside emerging technology that helps our teams move faster, smarter, and more securely. 🛠 What You’ll Be Doing As our Technology Services Engineer II, your work will sit at the heart of secure, scalable internal technology. Your day-to-day will include: 🔐 Supporting identity and access projects across Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Partner Centre, and related enterprise systems ⚙️ Helping deliver automation and infrastructure as code initiatives using tools such as Terraform, Power Automate, PowerShell, Python, and n8n 🧩 Supporting secure access across employee accounts, vendor portals, service principals, enterprise applications, provisioning groups, and access packages 🛡 Helping reduce security debt by contributing to clean-up, governance, and improvement work across identity and access environments 🤝 Working closely with Technology Services, Security Operations, Trust and Security, Global IT, corporate teams, and vendor partners 📚 Creating clear documentation, improving knowledge base content, and helping make processes easier to understand and repeat 🚀 Contributing to daily stand-ups, project delivery in Jira, change advisory discussions, and continuous improvement work 🌟 The Impact You’ll Make You’ll help Pax8 build secure, reliable, and scalable access foundations for our people, partners, and internal teams. Your work will directly support business continuity, improve how teams collaborate across regions, and help modernise how identity and access are managed across the organisation. This role gives you the chance to leave a real legacy: better documentation, stronger automation, cleaner access controls, smarter processes, and technology foundations that make it easier for Pax8 to scale securely. ⭐ What You’ll Bring - You’ll be a great fit if you have: Solid working proficiency with Azure AD / Entra ID, Intune, SSO, endpoint management, and identity lifecycle operations with minimal supervision Familiarity with access governance concepts — RBAC/ABAC, least-privilege, and access reviews Working experience with Okta or a comparable identity platform is a strong plus Competent with ServiceNow and Atlassian for workflow management, change requests, and documenting technical work Independently supports application onboarding and updates, validating requirements and performing testing Working skill in automation/scripting to streamline repetitive tasks (Python, PowerShell, Power Automate, Terraform) Good understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts (Azure/AWS IAM, networking basics, storage, compute) Demonstrates practical application of Agile and DevOps practices Understanding of ITIL processes, including incident, change, and problem management Strong troubleshooting capabilities; begins identifying root causes Reliable collaborator who contributes to team deliverables and small projects Communicates clearly with peers, stakeholders, and end users Apply security best practices in daily work Relevant qualifications such as ITIL 4 Foundation, Microsoft identity or Azure certifications, Okta, Terraform, Security+, ServiceNow, PowerShell, or Python learning are welcome, but not essential if you can demonstrate equivalent practical experience. 🤝 Trust and Hiring At Pax8, we care deeply about building genuine, trust based relationships — starting with how we hire.
