For this U.S. based position, the expected base salary is $112,861.00 – $129,600.00 per year. Additional short-term incentive compensation is a typical part of our compensation structure and would be in addition to the above-stated range. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Scientist in Andover, MA. Job Description: Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of advanced artificial intelligence applications and the development of models and algorithms for artificial intelligence solutions. Analyze available data and propose a solution to the problem. Develop software components to implement the solution or conduct the study. Test and compare models to achieve, in agreement with stakeholders, the best trade-off between performance, required data quantity, and computation time. Validate the results against the desired performance criteria. Contribute to the deployment of the solution and extensive tests. Document all work carried out and formalize deliverables. Provide the necessary support for operating, maintaining, and evolving the solution. Share experience on completed projects with peers. Contribute to updating the team's knowledge through technological watch and the evaluation of the field. Contribute to the protection of intellectual property and the capitalization of knowledge. Remote eligible up to 3 days/wk. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Analytics, or related field and two (2) years of experience in data analysis, or related occupation. OR Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Analytics, or related field and six (6) months of experience in data analysis, or related occupation. Employer will accept academic internship, co-op, or work experience. Academic internship, co-op, or work experience to include: Machine Learning modelling for predictive analysis and pattern recognition; Extracting useful information from large datasets, including structured and unstructured data; Developing software using skills including coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting in Python; and Development using libraries including pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, and plotly; Data analysis using statistics and mathematics; Data management and engineering, including databases and big data computing concepts; Cloud platforms (MS Azure, AWS, or GCP); Software version control tools (Git); and Data visualization and communication to distill complex analyses into business implications.
