We are Qatar Insurance Company (#QIC), the leading insurance provider in GCC since 1964. Our vision is to make the first Digital Ecosystem in the region by combining insurance and non-insurance services in one platform.

Currently, we are looking for a ​​​​​​​Backend QA Tech Lead who will drive QA strategy and best practices across QIC’s backend ecosystem. You will also be a part of the Core team, ensuring the quality of our insurance platform and distributed backend services.

Ideal candidate:
• 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering (primarily focus on backend)
• 2+ years of proven technical leadership exp with hands-on ownership of quality for production backend services
• Working background in distributed backend microservices, including gRPC APIs and Kafka event-driven systems
• English B2+

What we offer
• Long-term service agreement contract with QIC
• Full-time remote, work schedule: 5 days per week, _Sunday to Thursday
