About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Data Services, Snowflake, Python, and data processing frameworks such as Pandas. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building scalable cloud-based data solutions, optimizing data pipelines, and enabling advanced analytics capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and workflows
• Build cloud-native data engineering solutions using Microsoft Azure services
• Develop and optimize data ingestion and transformation processes using Python and Pandas
• Work extensively with Snowflake for data warehousing, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Integrate data from APIs, databases, flat files, and cloud storage systems
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to deliver high-quality datasets
• Ensure data quality, governance, consistency, and security standards
• Automate monitoring, validation, and reporting for data workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in pipelines and cloud infrastructure
• Participate in architecture discussions and recommend scalable data engineering best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5–10 years of experience in Data Engineering or related domain
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Microsoft Azure Data Services
• Python
• Snowflake
• Pandas
• SQL
• ETL/ELT processes
• Experience working with Azure services such as:
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Data Lake
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Databricks (Preferred)
• Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and data warehousing concepts
• Expertise in SQL query optimization and performance tuning
• Experience handling large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets
• Familiarity with Git/version control systems
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with NumPy and other data analysis libraries
• Exposure to Machine Learning data preparation workflows
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow or orchestration tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Azure certifications are an added advantage
Educational Qualification
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
