The Art Of Crime is hiring a full-time 2D Animator.
We're building a faceless YouTube Shorts channel about history's smartest criminals—escapes, cons, heists, forgeries, and prison-yard schemes. The focus isn't violence—it's cleverness.
About the Project.

We turn real criminal cases into 30–35 second animated Shorts, each built around one clever twist and visual reveal.
Goal: 1,000,000 subscribers in Year One.

Our animation style should closely match the quality, pacing, camera movement, transitions, and storytelling of:

(This is the standard we're hiring for. We're not copying their content—we're creating our own original stories in a similarly polished, cinematic cutout-animation style.)

What You'll Do
● Animate 15–30 Shorts per month
● Work from ready-made scripts and voiceovers
● Match the visual quality and pacing of the reference style
● Create expressive cutout-style character animation
● Deliver clean storytelling, smooth transitions, and strong reveal moments
● Maintain consistent quality across every video
● Collaborate with the team and meet deadlines

What We're Looking For
● Strong 2D animation skills
● Proficient in 2D animation softwares.
● Experience with cutout animation, character rigs, keyframes, and lip-sync
● Excellent timing, cinematic composition, and storytelling
● Ability to accurately replicate the reference animation style
● Portfolio demonstrating polished, high-retention animation
● Organized, reliable, and comfortable using AI-assisted workflows

Bonus
● Experience with YouTube Shorts
● Motion graphics
● Character illustration
● Understanding of viewer retention
